Who writes this
Andy Hosie
Founder & Editor
ArtificialIntelligence.io is led by Andy Hosie — an operator and investor who has spent two decades building consumer and B2B businesses, and the last two years building with frontier AI tools every day. Andy advises founders through Nest Growth, leads brand strategy through Northell, and is writing a book on obligation marketing for the AI economy.
The site is a working environment, not a content farm: the aggregation pipeline, the editorial pass, and the publication itself are all built in public with the same tools we write about.
How the Signal is made
Forty-plus sources — lab blogs, research feeds, YouTube channels, Hacker News, arXiv — are fetched every two hours. Each item is scored 0–100, tagged, summarised, and given a first-draft take by Claude against a published editorial rubric. High-scoring items publish to the Signal automatically; Andy stars the ones that matter, sharpens takes, and kills anything wrong.
We link out, always. We never republish full text. Every item credits and links its source.
How we use Claude
Items are scored, summarised and given a first-draft take by Claude; Andy Hosie edits, stars, and writes the Brief. Longer pieces are drafted with the model and reviewed line by line. No LLM is trained on anything submitted to this site, and no vendor sponsorship influences analysis. We tell you what we'd tell ourselves if we were paying for it.
See it wrong? Email andy@artificialintelligence.io and we'll correct it, visibly.
