Can It Actually Work? Synthesizing Functional CAD Mechanisms
The insight here is that visual plausibility and functional correctness are different problems. An agent can generate a CAD assembly that looks right but doesn't work. The framework closes that loop by running mechanical simulation and using the failure modes to guide revision.
