AI Models Can Provably Hide Arbitrary Capabilities
This is a sharp threat to the evaluation pipeline we've all been counting on. If capabilities can be provably hidden under reasonable cryptographic assumptions, then pre-deployment testing becomes a false sense of security rather than a real gate. For safety-minded builders and deployments: don't treat evals as a complete filter. For anyone running large evaluations: this is real and specific enough to warrant architectural changes to your red-team toolkit.
