ALLMTS: Automated LLM-based Medical Triage System
The insight is structural: don't ask the LLM to judge, make it execute. By mapping the model's role to executing a known decision tree rather than generating a disposition, they eliminated the hallucination and over-escalation problems that plague raw LLM triage. If you're building compliance-critical systems where the decision logic is predetermined, this is the pattern to study.
